A visit to Geppetto’s cow
chairs and step stool factory
Cow chairs or step stool bodies? They can be both; a handy cow shaped chair without back, commonly known as a stool, or a sturdy and stable step stool for you to step-on and gain that extra reaching height when required.
These bodies are made of plantation pine plywood and are ready for the final assembly operation.
Final assembly requires the ears to be fitted to the head, the head to the body and the seat with the built-in carry handle to the top of the body and legs.
These step stool components have just been cut on the band-saw and will now be sanded smooth on the disc and drum sander. The next stage will be on a bench router to tame the exposed sharp edges.
